 Margaret K. Allen

Deborah’s interest in Vision Rehabilitation began twenty years ago when her beloved grandmother was diagnosed with macular degeneration. Her grandmother lost her vision very rapidly and at the time, it was difficult to find assistance. Deborah began researching low vision aids and discovered that the tools available were difficult to come by.  Her research further indicated that many children and adults were suffering from low vision and help was not readily available. Her love and desire to help her grandmother was the impetus for starting Magnifiers & More.

Magnifiers & More carries over seventy-five types of magnifiers, and a variety of products to help manage vision issues such as: talking items, large print items, special lights, and glare control items.  Magnifiers & More also offers educational in-services and demonstrations for the various agencies, professionals, and organizations. Magnifiers & More is also proud of their vision support group, The Visionaries, which meets once a month. Currently, we have over 35 people who attend these meetings.
