“….I was looking for something to help my Grandfather see small things because he had Macular Degeneration and I was the token family geek/nerd.  After researching equipment to allow him to read magazines and see his nice coin collection, I was put in contact with Debbie Kogler, and we discussed options and equipment.  At the end of the conversation, she asked me if he might be a Vet and when I confirmed he was she asked if he had gone to the VA as they might be able to help him.  He was in his 90’s and he had not really used the VA much, so I pushed to schedule an appointment with the Dayton VA.  Needless to say, they provided a ton of equipment, items, and special glasses to assists with his sight problems.  I realized that this meant no monetary gain for your company, but I was thrilled he was getting things to help him enjoy the smaller things he’d been missing ….
